Redefined digital catalogs

One of the leading german food retailer started its e-commerce offensive by displaying its weekly (localized) offers on multiple channels. Beside responsive web, integration with native apps and its couponing system were the first steps toward a multi channel solution.
Client challenge: 
Show an online version of weekly printed catalogs and connect the products with an external couponing system as well as a smartphone app. They needed an automatic workflow, and also the flexibility to insert editorial articles inside each catalog page. Beside that the Deadline of only 5 weeks was a huge challenge.
epoint solution: 
We developed an automatic import mechanism that gets the content from an external print server and generates automatically up to 100 store catalogs, each with up to 24 different pages. Now the users have the possibility to add items from their favorite store (or one that is in a near location, using a search form) to the wishlist, and synchronize it with the mobile app. We implemented the website and also helped our partners with the content filling.
Client Benefits: 
The project was ready in 5 weeks from start to live. Now, the information can be updated in real time, and the browsing process runs much faster.
